1.What do I do if I
accidentally submit my survey before it is complete?

2.How do I view the final submitted survey?
Once the survey is in submitted status you will not
be able to make changes or view the survey report. Once the Division of Program
Services has reviewed the survey, you will be able to print the survey report
by
1.) Open the Survey screen and click on "Reports tab";
2.) Click on Institutional Program Search;
3.) Click on Institutional tab and fill in institutional name and hit search;
4.) The institutional name and AUN # will appear, then hit "Options" tab.
5.) When Options screen appears, Click on "Preview Report" and report will
appear on Adobe Reader for you to print.
3. What does enrollment close year ("Enrl
Close Year") mean?
It is the year (date) you are ending enrollment of
student into a program, before closing the program on a permanent basis.
4. If my specific degree code is not listed
in the degree dropdown box, what are my options?
Indicate "Other Degree" by selecting O/A for
"Other Associate", O/B for "Other Bachelors", O/M for "Other Masters", or O/D
for "Other Doctorate".
5. Can I make changes to the Survey once it
has been reviewed?.
No! Once the Survey is in "Reviewed" status it is
locked and final for the Year.
6. Once I submit the Survey to PDE, can I
still make changes to the Survey?
Yes! However, you will need to contact the PDE, so
the Survey can be placed in "Open"status. Call or e-mail the Division of
Program Services at 717-772-3623 or e-mail at ahapp@state.pa.us
7. What is the "CIP Local Title"?
The local title is the title of the program,
different from the CIP Code title, which the Institution has identified for the
program.
8. Is it possible to change the CIP Code to
more accurately reflect the program's description and title?
Yes! However, it would be advisable to e-mail the
Bureau of Postsecondary Services, Division of Program Services, informing them
of the change.
9. How important is the contact information
on the "Contact" page?
The contact information is very important and must
be filled out. It is the means by which information about the Annual Survey of
Educational Programs is transmitted to your institution and questions answered.
10. Do seminaries have to complete the
Annual Survey of Educational Programs?
Yes, all postsecondary institution offering degree
programs in Pennsylvania must complete the Annual Survey of Educational
Programs.
11. What does the "Instructional Type"
indicate on the "Summary" page?
Instructional Type indicates the mode/modes of
delivery in program instruction. ( See definitions)
12. We have several branch campuses where
programs are being offered, but I cannot access them on the Survey. What must I
do to access them?
In order to have the campus code number loaded on
the system, you must contact the PDE at Pdetech
or the Division of Program Services at 717- 772-3623.
